Amanda received her Bachelors of Science degree in Speech Pathology in 2002 from Lambuth University and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Vanderbilt University in 2004. She began working at the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center in Nashville, TN where she led the Preschool Language Team, supervised graduate students, provided workshops for speech-language pathologists and other professionals, and coordinated the expansion of services to a local developmental preschool. After the birth of her first son, Amanda began working in private practice and has been with Speech-Language Services since 2008. Amanda has extensive experience in diagnostic evaluation and treatment for preschool and early school age children with a variety of motor speech, articulation, and language disorders in both clinical and school settings.
Amanda values the importance of family both professionally and personally. She enjoys volunteering, traveling, and reading, but her favorite place to be is at home spending time with her husband, two children, and two chocolate labs.
